Mar. 7th, 2004 07:57 pmso i'm putting in my two weeks notice to work tomorrow. b/c i have a new manager. and her name is happy. and she is crappy. i guess sometimes you meet people in your life who you just cannot get along with. and your only options are to get away from immediately or...KILL KILL KILL!
why does happy suck so much you ask? well, she's one of those 35-year-old midlife crisis divorcees. she thinks she's a stoner hippie. and she talks loudly about going to bonaroo. but i found her out. she really doesn't ever smoke pot, because she thinks it makes her unproductive. she moved the nos that no one is even stealing into the safe. and she doesn't even like any of the bands at bonnaroo. at least, not enough to spend the money she is spending. i should know, i quizzed her. and she didn't know any songs but she pretended to. and she thought harold and maud "was just weird". the movies she likes? crappy romantic comedies like down with love and intolerable cruelty.
and there's really nothing i hate more than someone who likes to pretend to be a laid-back stoner. it's not like i'll hate you if you aren't man. JUST OWN WHAT YOU ARE. is that really so hard? plus, she knows i'm on to her. so she hates me, she has a personal problem with me. which is completely unprofessional. that and i refuse to work for anyone that has a personal vendetta against me. anyway, so i'm quitting. tomorrow.
