My big bear & I went snowboarding at Mont Sutton, Quebec, for spring break. It was really really cold there. On the warmest day it was -6ยบ C. Usually it was somewhere between -16 and -19. Celsius, though. Risto had to speak french most of the time, since we were in a pretty small town, although most people spoke a very small amount of english. I did things like ordering a gigantic "dejeuner de skier" on accident (it came with baked beans, inexplicably), but mostly I just looked at Risto & then the Frenchies talked to him. I got some new pretty snowboard boots, and I ate a ton of delicious crepes. Quebec also has something called poutine, which is french fries covered in gravy and pieces of cheese. It's basically the best & messiest thing ever. There is also a ton of hockey & curling on tv at all times in canada, which I wasn't opposed to. Anyway, I took some pictures.
