wisdom teeth

i went to video den to rent a stack of dvd's for this week's wisdom teeth adventure. it just so happens that under mr. joe weeks' favorites i found one copy of Akira. i knew beau reminded me of him for a reason. now i suppose i'll have to go back and rent it when it's in.

speaking of wisdom teeth, my prescription says vicodin on it, kids. that's right, 20 pills. i have to wait to pick them up to know what the mg's are. oh, fun in a little orange bottle. i thought i was going to get percoset or codeine or something. most excellent.

I decided I'm going to read gatsby again over break. I read it when i was 15 and loved it, but you know. It's scottie. And he deserves another read, especially after I got all obsessed with zelda last semester. I'm still going to write those series poems about her. All that gin and ballet.

Anyone have any other suggestions of good books? I'm still reading raymond chandler novels, of course, and savoring dave eggers book of short stories, but i need something else.

things i am not: wisdom teeth pain tomorrow, making up work for literary editing, saying goodbye to tiff when i go back to school, latin this summer
